Purpose

The purpose of Operation Friendship Bavaria is to foster the international attitude, the tolerance of the culture and the understanding of nations.
This purpose will be achieved by bringing together young people of different countries, by fostering international friendship and the understanding among youth and adults both of foreign countries and Bavaria, introducing participants to the social, educational, religious, and secular heritage of each member country and making friends all over the world.
In order to achieve this purpose there can also be exchange programmes for adults or other kinds of exchange programmes.
